About ImageTools

ImageTools is a small collection of free, privacy-first image utilities — compress, resize and convert — that run entirely inside your web browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to any server.

We built ImageTools because most online image tools upload your files to process them, which is slow and a privacy risk for personal photos and ID documents. Doing the work in the browser is faster, works offline once loaded, and keeps your images yours.

How it works

Modern browsers can decode, resize and re-encode images natively. ImageTools uses these built-in capabilities to do everything locally. When you close the tab, nothing is retained.
